MOGV is a mathematical competition specifically meant to support mathematical enrichment for girls of Vietnam. Participants of MOGV would have experience analogous to competing against their peers from various areas of the country, solving advanced mathematical problems.
Each year has only one competition round for individuals, with four levels. Each competition level paper consists of two parts including both short answer questions and long questions that require full written solutions.
Female pupils of grade 4 to grade 11 are encouraged to compete.

Each competition of MOGV consists of one round only. The time for one sitting is 100 minutes. Recommended year groups sitting for MOGV are grade 4 to grade 11.
Each exam paper consists of five short answer questions and four written questions.
First prize is awarded to 3% of the participants. Second prize is awarded to the next 6% and Third prize awarded to the subsequent 10% of the contestants.
The top scoring contestants will receive a Certificates depending on their performance. The top 30 scorers of senior age group will be invited to sit for the team selection test for EGMO.
To participate in the competition, all individuals must submit applications through our online registration system. No applications will be processed after the deadline has passed. Registrations must be submitted by a responsible adult on behalf of teams and individuals in an organization.
